Our Standardised Total Expense Ratio (STER) was developed in response to the need for institutional investors to be able to compare and monitor structural costs between different alternative investment funds over time. The methodology was developed by a working group of asset managers and institutional investors and is focused on calculating a single, standardised expense ratio for comparison and monitoring of fees.
